Project Overview
Growing Pains is a character-driven storybook sequence that follows a young protagonist through a micro-story of adventure, mishap, and joyful recovery. This project highlights the ability to convey action and emotion through body language and facial expressions.
The Narrative Arc
The sequence captures three pivotal moments: the thrill of climbing and the sudden fall, the quiet recovery period in bed, and finally the triumphant return to joy through dance. Each scene tells its part of the story with clarity and emotional resonance.
Action & Expression
The falling scene freezes a split-second moment with dynamic energy—capturing both the motion and the emotion of the accident. Character expressions throughout the sequence convey the full range of feelings from fear to boredom to pure joy.
Interior & Environmental Design
Each scene is set within fully rendered environments, from the outdoor tree setting to the cozy bedroom and warm living room. Accurate perspective work and thoughtful interior design add authenticity and depth to the narrative.
